Before a rig is open for drilling, it is imperative to ensure the well control equipment can handle any pressure up to its maximum rating. For completions, any new components added to a location and all other associated valves or bodies need to be tested as well. All Around has the luxury of delivering on-call pressure testing services to any location at any time.
All Around typically conducts these pressure tests by connecting one of our top-of-the-line mobile units to the components to be tested. Then, the test fluid (such as water) is pumped into those components and the results are recorded to determine whether there’s a leak. It is an absolute necessity to know that your equipment is prepared to contain and direct any and all pressure.
While All Around does perform Nitrogen charging and valve greasing, our primary pressure services include torquing and hydrostatic testing. Our torque services involve bolting up equipment ranging from 2″ flowline to 13 ⅝″ BOPs (blowout preventers). All Around Roustabout ensures the proper torque valves, flanging, and ring gaskets are also verified.
With our capacity ranging from 200 psi to 15,000 psi, we can perform hydrostatic testing on the following equipment:
- BOP systems
- wellhead and casing
- production equipment
- any necessary vessel of the structure, high or low volume
